I just recently got a hold of The Notebook. Yes, one of the famous books of Nicholas Sparks. I was never a fan of romantic novels but I guess I’ll make an exception for this book and the other one, which was also made into movie last 2002, A Walk To Remember. I remember the first time I watched the movie (last 3 years ago). I liked it so much that I fell inlove with it. I suddenly found myself asking a couple of questions like: how can anyone love like that? Even if they’re old, they still have each other. Their love for each other never went away. Do people like them really do/still exist?
I have to say that I liked the ending in the movie much better. I have a thing for sad endings. Don’t ask me why, I don’t even know what to answer.
For those who still haven’t read the book, I suggest you do. I have a copy of the ebook here. Just check the link below.
PLOT: The movie focuses on an old man reading a story to an old woman in a nursing home. The story he reads follows two young lovers named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who meet one evening at a carnival. But they are separated by Allie’s parents who dissaprove of Noah’s unwealthy family, and move Allie away. After waiting for Noah to write her for several years, Allie meets and gets engaged to a handsome young soldier named Lon. Allie, then, with her love for Noah still alive, stops by Noah’s 200-year-old home that he restored for her, “to see if he’s okay”. It is evident that they still have feelings for each other, and Allie has to choose between her fiancé and her first love.

Eversince I bought my own netbook, I’ve been on the lookout for cute and yet not so attractive-to-snatchers laptop bags. As you all know, in my country, snatchers and holdapers are everywhere. When you ride the bus, taxi, jeep and even the train. So bringing a gadget such as your iPads, laptop or notebook is not a cool idea especially if it’s too obvious. It’s what we call here, “makatawag ng pansin”.
Anyway, when I bought mine (netbook), i only got this simple and dull black netbook sleeve. To be honest, I kinda like it coz it fits my netbook perfectly. But since it’s boring to look at, I decided to google my way into the world of laptop bags, and finally found a cute and very funky designs for our beloved gadgets.
I customized these myself on Snupped.com. Isn’t cute?
I really like their designs. You can choose from their collections and mix and match the colors!
Can you believe that the Harry Potter Series is about to end? Whenever I think of it, it saddens me. I grew up to Harry Potter. I was 16 or maybe 15 when I first read the book. So thinking that HP is ending this July, is just a total sadness for all HP fans. But ofcourse, fans like me, the magic continues even after the Harry Potter movies has ended.
Anyway, for those who are a fan of Daniel Radcliffe, you can see him in two more films set to be released this 2011. One thing’s for sure is his upcoming film, The Woman in Black.
PLOT: The story follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Radcliffe), who is ordered to travel to a remote village and sort out a recently deceased client’s papers. As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true identity.
Just saw the trailer of The Roommate last night. I have to say that I’m looking forward to the movie.
PLOT: A college freshman, Sara (Minka Kelly), is randomly assigned to a dorm with a stranger named Rebecca (Leighton Meester). They start off as friends, but things turn deadly as Rebecca becomes obsessed with her and begins to target people in Sara’s life.
Look here! This has just been released! Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) steaming things up! This is the new still picture from the upcoming film, Breaking Dawn. To sum it all up, they really look natural in that picture don’t you think?
Director Bill Condon told press, “You want to live up to people’s expectations. People take [the movie and characters] personally.”
