My Wishlist: Mophie Juice Pack Air

I’m a hardcore iPhone user, in fact, my battery wouldn’t last for a day because I use my iPhone for updating my social networks, blogging, and gaming. Thus, I need to recharge my battery everyday. There are even times where I fear of going out to the mall or eating with family or friends and have a 50% battery charge left. So every weekends, I make sure to charge my phone before I go to bed.

Anyway, I really want this Mophie Juice Pack Air for iPhone 3GS. I say, it’s a must have for every iPhone users out there. It’s a rechargeable Smart Battery concealed inside a light weight protective case. The main function of this sweet baby is to increase your iPhone battery TWICE the battery life of our iDevice. I wish to buy one someday. It’s a freaking $79! I mean, I can buy one if I want to but I have bills to pay and that it’s currently out of the budget I made for the next 3 months. =( Oh well~ Soon though.

The Sacred Bones by Michael Byrnes

Interesting isn’t? The cover really got my attention. In case you haven’t noticed, I love reading and watching about real history, conspiracy theories with a touch of fiction, and the likes. And this book just stirred my curiosity even more. It’s like DaVince Code. I’m currently reading the book and I have to say that I can’t wait to finish it and start the second book.

PLOT: A brazen and violent crime occurs at the crossroads of the Christian, Islamic, and Jewish faiths—the shocking theft of ancient artifacts hidden for many centuries in a secret vault beneath Jerusalem’s Temple Mount. In its wake, thirteen Israeli policemen and soldiers are dead—and the fuse is lit on a volatile Mideast powder keg, threatening an explosion that could devastate the world.

In Italy, American forensic scientist Charlotte Hennesey has answered a Vatican summons asking for help. Joining with Italian anthropologist Giovanni Bersei, she embarks upon a perilous journey down a twisted path of revelations prowled by sinister zealots and relentless cold killers. For they must expose the astonishing secrets locked in the ancient bones resting in a newly unearthed burial box—the skeleton of a man who lived and died in the first century; a man who was scourged and stabbed . . . and crucified.

Lovely Long Weekend!

I had a lovely day with Mom and Trisha last weekend. It was supposed to be a window shopping day but turned out to be entirely different. I wasn’t able to control myself from spending more than my usual budget, thus our mini shopping and expensive food trip.

Anyway, there was this funny incident I’d like to share. So while we’re waiting for mom to pay for her bread, my sister and I decided to grab some sandwiches from 7-11. The guy from the cashier was in all smiles and kept on urging us if we want some drinks to go with our sandwiches, which we refused so many times. I swear he was hitting on the two of us. HAHA! Funny man.

Oh, this is my current favourite. Thank god for 7-11, Mister Donut and Dunkin Donuts. Hot chocolate + Spice Ham & Cheese Sandwich are just LOVE.

A Hearty Result

I accompanied my Grandfather once again in the Hospital last Friday for follow up check up. Well, the results came back positively good. No more water in his lungs and heart and Creatinine is normal.

I took that photo while waiting for his X-ray. Yeah, I got really bored. Oh, that’s not me by the way, just a random person.

Current Addiction: Milk Tea

I’m getting addicted drinking Milk Tea. It’s delicious! The first time I had one tasted a bit weird, but fine. And then I tried to order different flavors every time I visit Chatime or Bumble Tea Place. So far, my favorites are Taro Pudding Milk Tea from Chatime and Wintermelon from Bumble Tea Place. I have yet to try Moonleaf Tea and Serenitea.

Gah. I’m craving one right now! =(

Amityville – 2 out of 5

I finally finished reading Amityville by Jay Anson. I have to admit that it didn’t meet my expectations. But of course, it says in the book that the story of the family who used to live there (Lutz) are based on true events. Overall, I didn’t like it much. I rated the book 2 out of 5 stars. =( As for the remake of the movie, I totally forgot about it. Haha. I mean, I only saw the movie once and that’s it. I might have to rent it again next week.

Anyway, the bookworm inside me is once again back! Thank you. =) My next book to read is second book of the Lost Hero series, The Son of Neptune. I was supposed to read it last year but then something came up. Now, I’m back! Looking forward to new books this year! =)
