Two weeks of Stieg Larsson. I finished the last book last week. The ending, well, it’s not what I expected. I was expecting of more Salander and Blomkvist moment. I know, it’s odd for me to ship those two, but like I said before, I like them. And then that Figuerola (?) girl popped up. HAHA! OMG. Sorry, I’m kind of weird here.
I recently found out from Wikipedia that the author’s sudden demise left a 4th unfinished manuscript. Yeah, and then he died. The trilogy isn’t supposed to be trilogy. The series is supposed to span in 10 books all in all. I wish Stieg Larsson didn’t die that early. ARGGHH!
Here I go again, contemplating whether to buy a new soft case for my iPhone. I’m torn between pink and blue. They’re just lovely! But obviously, I have to pick between the two. And right now, my heart says, pick blue!
I saw a couple of those at Citylight, SM Cubao ranging from 450 Pesos to 600 Pesos.
I’ve been hearing and reading a lot of things about the novel, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo since last year. Though I added the books to my To-Read archive on Goodreads, I never got the chance to read it until last week. As soon as I started reading, I got totally hooked. Tho I have to say that some of the chapters in the book drags a lot. Especially with the issue of one of the protagonist which in turn, for me, dragged the whole chapter. The author obviously wanted to explain his story as much as possible without loopholes. Also, the book made me crave for coffee every time I read it. It contains a lot of coffee scenes. You’ve been warned. :]
Anyway, what made me really want to read the book is because of the plot. It interests me a lot. As you know, I love reading crime, murder, mystery novels. Plus, when I saw the trailer of Hollywood version of the movie, it really made me want to know more about the book. And so, for the past week, I’ve been busy reading. I just finished the book days ago and I’m now reading the second book of the Millennium series.
One thing though, I know it’s very unlikely for the two protagonist to fell in-love unconsciously or not, but I really like those two. I know it’s weird for me to ship these two different people and of age, but there is something (so far in my reading) Haha! Okay, I’m weird. Sorry.
I know, I’m a bookworm and I’m proud of it! So today, I’d like to share my reading challenge for the year 2012. This may not be accurate yet as I may have to add more books than I’ve decided to read.
read 4 books toward her goal of 20 books.
So far, I still have 16 more books to read to achieve my goal for the year 2012. Then again, who knows? I might add more books in the future.
I can’t believe I slept very late last night. I decided to finish the book I’m currently reading which is The Sacred Blood. I have to say that it’s a very interesting read. Now, it tackles different religions and if you think you have a weak faith, I don’t think it’s what you want to read. If you’re like me, who happens to love history and conspiracy theories mixed with fiction, then this one is for you.
Anyway, this is going to be a very short post. I’m sort of sick since yesterday. :[
Day 5. Tell us the last person who texted you.
A person whom I met last summer. He asked me for help about blogging and I gave him my personal thoughts about it. The reason is because he took up a part time job as a blogger at this certain website. And because he knew what I’m up to the past years, he thought of asking questions regarding the matter.
Anyway, I won’t elaborate our conversation. Moving on, I’m really excited about one thing though. It’s about my plans for the rest of the year. I hope it pushes through because I really need it.
